According to sources, Nike bought out the uniform contracts for the NFL, effective next year. This comes as no surprise to anyone, as Nike is trying to buy out all major contracts for other sports, such as the NBA, who is currently under endorsement with Adidas. Along with the recent deal, is the creation of the NFL Nike Combat uniforms, already present in college football. The idea has already hit team owners, and if approved, will be unveiled in the 2012 season. Since we love the Dolphins, above is a picture of what the Combat uniform for Miami is supposedly going to look like.
